Upcoming trip!!!

Once again, it's time for a lil respite from shantou life...

this time we're gonna go with one of mario's pepes from el salvador Rene... one of his friends from childhood...

since this will be the only time he will come to china, we have to take him to beijing... the great wall, the forbidden city are a must... we'll be there for about 5 days... then we'll fly to kunming... the capital of Yunnan province... which borders laos and thailand... there is a lot of ethnic diversity there... so we'll see some cool stuff... we're gonna do a 3 day hike... to the Tiger Leaping Gorge. One of the biggest canyons in china... it should be beautiful...

from there it's back home... and Rene will come with us in shantou for a week or so and then it's back to guanaco land (guanaco is another word for salvadoran)...

so i'll be putting up stories from there frequently...

for now it's off to teach a lil girl of 5 years... she's really cute and i teach her twice a week... she rocks.. she comes up with her own games... i just have to teach her some words and she's already going on how to play a game using them... so great!

tomorrow morning, i'm gonna go meet a chinese tutor that another foreigner recommended to me here... i hope she is cool... she sounds like it... my chinese got worse over the summer cuz of the time in thailand, and one of my good friends left... so i'm recovering now!
